Common questions
Straight answers from how the farm actually works. If something is not listed, get in touch.
Do I need to book?
Yes. Bookings are essential as we are weather and flower-production dependent. All You Pick events are announced on Instagram and Facebook, and booked through this website.
How much does it cost?
$2 per stem for as much as you want to pick. The booking reserves your place; you pay for the flowers you take home.
How long is a picking session?
Picking time is 1.5 hours. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times for picking flowers.
What should I bring?
Good footwear, and a bucket to transport your flowers home. A picking bucket and snips are provided on site.
Are children welcome?
Yes. We have rounded snips for younger children. Please ensure children are supervised or strapped in a stroller when on site.
What happens if it rains?
If the weather does not suit picking, you will be notified two days before the booked event.
What happens if there aren’t enough flowers?
If we have had issues around flower volume, you will be notified two days before the booked event to ensure you have the best experience.
Can I make a private group booking?
Yes. Use the private & group enquiry. Those sessions are not listed as public Friday and Saturday slots.
Can I book wedding or event flowers?
Yes. See weddings & events. You can pick before the public on a Wednesday or Thursday, or we can pick, strip, hold in solution and chill ready for pick-up.
Can I just turn up?
No. Please book a public session, or enquire for a private group or wedding pick.

Do you supply florists?
Yes. We supply UFG Flower Auctions and have flowers available for weddings and events.
Can businesses or staff groups book privately?
Yes. Enquire through the group bookings page.
