You Pick events
Welcome
This year Funky Foliage Gardens in Te Puke will be hosting You Pick events on Saturday mornings and Friday and Saturday evenings. Grab a friend or a carload and come and experience the joy of picking fresh flowers. No weeding required.

What’s included
- A quick discussion on how and which stems are ready for picking
- Pick from any row of flowers you wish
- Picking time 1.5 hours (early morning and late afternoon are the best times for picking flowers)
- Picking bucket and snips provided
- For younger children, we have rounded snips available, but please ensure children are supervised or strapped in a stroller when on site
This is a working flower farm
Please be aware there are bees on site and uneven ground, so good footwear is required. We encourage you to bring a bucket to transport your flowers home.
Weather / flower volume
If the weather does not suit picking or we have had issues around flower volume, you will be notified two days before the booked event to ensure you have the best experience.
